Hello Friends! I’d like to introduce you to Louisa Kelly, who is on a blog tour! What is that, you ask? Well, for starters it’s something I have never done. But many authors do. They get other authors to host them on their websites. And because I am a big fan of Dirt Roads Books, I agreed to host Louisa. It sounds like a great book! I just put it on my list to read. Below, you will find the stops of her tour, a brief question and answer with her, a giveaway, and more. So check it out.

About Louisa:

Louisa Kelley is the author of a series of well-regarded erotic paranormal books and urban fantasy stories, including the trilogy, Daughters of Draca. Her writing features fantastical stories of sensual romance, intrigue and magic, often with modern day characters based in Portland. ‘Fianna The Gold,’ book one in her newest fantasy series, has just been released by Dirt Road Books.

She resides in Portland, Oregon where, in a strangely perfect combination of rainy winters and urban skyline, her writing inspiration abounds. She’s also slightly obsessed with dragons.

The Interview:

Louisa Kelley, fantasy romance author, happily coming to you from Portland, Oregon

Why do you write?

I write because I’ve been in love with words ever since I learned to read. The dance of words on a page creating pictures in my mind, fast became one of my favorite things in the world and remains that way today. By fourth grade, the influence of author Louisa May Alcott and her books, especially Little Women, propelled me into dreams of being a writer, just like her. Her innocently romantic books became the original starting place of my love of happily-ever-after.

If you had the world’s attention for 30 seconds, what would you say?

Stop all the wars and put down your guns and weapons immediately. Eliminate nuclear weapons and create a planetary-wide, cease fire, so the world can begin healing terrible, terrible wounds. Give peace a chance. It’s the only way.

What is in your fridge right now?

Soy and almond milks, tofu, potatoes, Spindrift grapefruit water, salad stuff and greens, Toby’s pate and assorted out-of-date salad dressings and spreads. Oh, and a few cans of beer. Gotta keep it balanced. J

If you could dis-invent one thing, what would it be?

Nuclear capability and knowledge.

What item do you stockpile “just in case”?

Unscented hair spray of a certain brand. It’s my sole hair styling product and I have to buy it online. It’s hard to find.
