Everybody loves a winner. Or so they say. It sure is fun to be a winner. And, lucky me, I am one! My novel, Perfect Little Worlds, about aging, love, and surviving an earthquake just won a Golden Crown Literary Award. Or, for you people in the know, a “Goldie.” I am so darn happy, I’m going to do a giveaway. Write a comment and I will put your name in a hat. Then, Friday, I’ll pull a name out and that person will get to be a winner too! Because they will win a copy (paperback or e-book), of Perfect Little Worlds. (This could be you!)

In the meantime, let me just say, winning a book award is better than…

An unlimited gift certificate to an ice cream parlor.

Never having to do laundry again.

A ride on a camel.

A whole pile of valentines.

Your favorite song coming up on the radio when you’re taking a drive in the country.

A piece of chocolate cake.

Two pieces of chocolate cake.

A new pair of cool shoes.

I’m telling you, it feels so great! Writing is such a solitary endeavor. Most readers never reach out and tell you they read your book. Only some are kind enough to write reviews. If you are one of those people who do, THANK YOU! Your feedback is muy appreciated. In the meantime, I’m going to revel in this winner-ness. As you can see, it’s left me (somewhat) speechless.

So, that’s what I’ve got today. Enjoy your day—and make a comment. You too, could be a winner!

And remember, live the love. It’s all we’ve got.
